2003/9/7
Removal of pedestrian walkway.

2003/9/9
Major finds include hard pottery, porcelain fragments, metal utensils, fruit knife blade and plastics.

2003/9/14
Uncovered many brick fragments, few hard pottery and porcelain fragments. The remain of cement mixed with broken brick for strengthen purpose was found.

2003/9/16
The soil color changed from dark brown to grey brown, at the bottom layer 4 pillar cavity structures were uncovered. The pillar-cavity structure close to the north wall had signs of cement covering and the areas nearby there were signs of scratch marks from excavators. The layer surface was of a wavy structure, probably due to the place being a sand dune during ancient times.

2003/9/17
7 pillar-cavity structures were unearthed, which lie in south-north and east-west direction. The space between cavities were not big and its purposes unknown. Near the north wall 2 brick-made ditches were uncovered, beside them was a ceramic pipe, all of which was thought to be part of a sewerage system.

2003/9/19
A complete ceramic pipe was uncovered to the west of the north ditch, underneath it were large amounts of white ash and brick fragments, the soil was very solid. The uncovered remnants were mostly brick with very few pieces of porcelain and An Ping pottery.

2003/9/25
The bottom of the sand layer contained many fragments of white ash, not many remnants were unearthed (the bottom of sand layer had signs of sedimentation). There were a little bit of porcelain fragments and many An Ping Pots uncovered. A pile of porcelain covered with metal particles was uncovered at south-western side of the site, which contained An Ping hard pottery and Japanese porcelain.

2003/9/26
A brick-made fireplace was uncovered on the east side, inside was a trough which contains fragments of burnt coal and iron bars.

2003/9/27
Clearing up of piled up bricks, uncovered few fragmented coal and iron utensils. At the bottom of the pile a white porcelain cup was found. Sand soil was piled inside in order to prevent the site from collapsing.
